ABOUT
“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi.

This is a favorite quote. It speaks to many of the things I see that I would like to see changed – issues such as poverty, lack of education, hunger, and sickness. Today our society is standing at the edge of a precipice, and we must be intentional in choosing kindness, tolerance, diversity, equity, and above all, understanding.
I believe we must all step outside our boxes, the boxes we create for our own comfort and sense of safety. We must learn and participate and engage others to create a world fit for our children to live in.
We need to step away from the things that cause us anxiety and focus more on the things that bring us joy. For me, that is travel whether it’s across town or halfway around the world, growing herbs in my garden, my family, BritBox murder mysteries, wandering a beach at night with a flashlight, dry red wine and good cheese, walking through a museum full of oddities, a book you completely lose yourself in, or a really good night’s sleep.
