Missouri Primary Care Association Presentation

Proposed Social Media Campaign

The public will observe National Opioid Awareness Day this year on Sept. 21. A social media campaign would have a greater effect in conjunction with this national event and with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s National Recovery Month which is also in September.

Audience:

Members of the public, legislators/policymakers, and member organizations/staff of the Missouri Primary Care Association.

Key Outcomes:

  • Participation in Opioid Awareness Day and National Recovery Month
  • Assist members of the public in finding their local FQHC for treatment
  • Highlight the work that Missouri’s FQHCs do in the midst of this crisis

Key Performance Indicators

  • Track social media metric data for views/likes/shares
  • Track the number of times the public views the video online
  • Track downloads of the infographic flyer from the website
  • If possible, collect data from FQHCs for potential increases in September for information on substance use programs
